Tournament is a part of 11th International Chess Festivals Series CZECH TOUR 2011/2012. 11.-18.2. FIDE open (prize fund 30 000 CZK) 12.2. open tournament in active chess 16.2. open blitz tournament The town of Novy Bor is located at the foot of the Luzicke Mountains. There are a lot of glass workshops here.

Nancy (FRA), 10th international chess festival
Chess festival with 20 Round Robin tournaments and 200 players planned. 9 rounds 90min/40moves + 30min (+30sec/move). Group A for GM, group B for IM-norms, group C for 10 players over 2200 elo, group D for 10 players over 2100 elo, group E for 10 players over 2000 elo...etc.. Entry fee : 56 euros (28 euros under 20 y.o).

Ko Lanta is one of the most beautiful Thai islands, its length is abt. 30km. There will be a Czech guide on the spot.
