Both groups: 7 rounds, Swiss System Masters Tournament: players rated higher than 1800 DWZ; without DWZ rated higher than ELO 1900 Challengers Tournament: players rated lower than 1900 DWZ; without DWZ rated lower than ELO 1900 Wunsiedel is 30 km away from Cheb (Czech Republic), 50 km away from Bayreuth and 120 km away from Nürnberg.
