| Popis: | The World Amateur Chess Championships is for players rated FIDE 2000 and under. A $20,000 USD prize fund, the largest in the tournament history, is available along with 2 university scholarships valued up to $36,000 each for the top male and female performer. The overall winner will also be granted the title of FM and the top female player will be granted the title of WFM.
